Call for 2010 NSF-CBMS Regional Research Conferences

November 12, 2008

The Conference Board of the Mathematical Sciences runs a unique conference series in the mathematical sciences with NSF funding. Each five-day conference features a distinguished lecturer who delivers ten lectrures on a topic of important current research. An example of an NSF-CBMS Regional Conference in 2009 is one on Adaptive Finite Element Methods for Partial Difference Equations at Texas A&M on May 18-22, 2009; it features Rolf Rannacher as the lecturer.

A full description of the CBMS program and procedures for submitting proposals for a 2010 conference may be found on the CBMS weh page for the call for proposals.
