Third Annual Career Fair

The SIAM Career Fair is an informational and interactive event at which employers and prospective employees can discuss careers. It is a great opportunity to meet government and industry representatives and discuss what they are looking for and what you have to offer!

Please remember all attendees of the Career Fair must be registered for the CAIMS/SIAM Meeting!

Attention all employers!

We are looking for additional representatives from government and industry to participate in our Third Annual Career Fair during the Joint Meeting of the Canadian Applied and Industrial Mathematics Society (CAIMS) and the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM). The Career Fair is scheduled for Monday, June 16th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. There is no charge to participate, but all participants are required to register and attend the 2003 CAIMS/SIAM Meeting.

SIAM will be advertising the Career Fair in SIAM News, on the web, and directly to academic faculty and students. The program book and web site for the 2003 CAIMS/SIAM Meeting will include listings of all participating Career Fair companies.

Your involvement can be limited to you being available to speak to prospective students for the one and a half hour time-slot, but you may utilize this time as an opportunity to set up interviews with prospective employees.
