To qualify for the preregistration rate, the preregistration form and payment must be received at the SIAM office by Tuesday, June 23, 1998. Registrations received after Tuesday, June 23, will be subject to the on-site registration fees for either of the short courses, the annual meeting, or the discrete mathematics conference. The difference will be charged to your credit card or collected from you on-site.

Tickets for social events cannot be guaranteed after the advance registration date listed (June 23). The University of Toronto is not equipped to handle unexpected guests. Please register for all social events that you plan to attend so that you are not disappointed in the event that tickets are not available.

Chicken, pork chops, salads, baked potatoes, corn on the cob, fruit, cookies, soda, and beer will be served. Attendees of the 1998 SIAM Annual Meeting and the MAA Mathfest 98, which is being held in Toronto at Ryerson Polytechnic College, may attend this party. Because the University of Toronto campus is so beautiful we are again using the outside terrace of the Medical Science Building, across from Convocation Hall on King's College Circle. There is a $20 fee for attending this event.

MAA Attendees must submit the MAA/SIAM BBQ Registration Form at archive.siam.org/meetings/an98dm98/maaform.htm.

Tickets and registration payment required. Use the Registration Form to register for SIAM's events; and MAA's registration form for their Wednesday event.

CAIMS/SCMAI and SMB Attendees

Canadian Applied and Industrial Mathematics Society/Société Canadienne de Mathématiques Appliquées et Industrielles (CAIMS/SCMAI) and Society for Mathematical Biology (SMB) attendees are entitled to the SIAM member registration rates.

Reciprocity with MAA

You may attend the 1998 MAA Mathfest being held at Ryerson Polytechnic College with your SIAM meeting badge. This reciprocal arrangement between SIAM and MAA applies to Thursday, July 16, and Friday, July 17, only. Additional information about MAA Mathfest 98 can be found at www.maa.org.
