In recent years, substantial progress has been made in the modeling, analysis and computation of optimal and feedback control synthesis for fluid flows. These developments have the potential to impact a number of domestic and defense industries. This minisymposium will feature new trends and recent advances in state of the art theory, algorithm and simulation in flow control. The speakers will present the cutting edge developments of the theory and computational techniques of optimization, stochastic control, MHD, feedback control, combustion control, H-infinity, Fuzzy logic and neural network to real-time control systems..
