Numerical Methods and Applications to Control

This minisymposium focuses on recent developments in the analysis of numerical methods for optimal control problems. The speakers will discuss sufficient optimality conditions and Lipschitz stability which play a fundamental role in the analysis of almost any numerical algorithm in optimal control, and finite element methods for acoustic problems and the estimation of an elliptic coefficient.
