Panel Discussion
Languages and Environments for Sparse Matrix Computations
Recent developments of object-oriented languages have ignited activities in designing tools, packages, and environments that attempt to hide most of the details about sparse matrix computations from the users. This special panel discussion is organized to discuss some of the issues that arise. Panelists will be researchers who are active in these areas. All conference participants and attendees are invited to participate and voice their opinions.
Moderator: John R. Gilbert
