Mathematical Congress of the Americas 2013

The Congress will highlight the excellence of mathematical achievements in the Americas within the context of the international arena, and foster collaborations among researchers, students, institutions and mathematical societies in the Americas. The founding sponsors of MCA are the AMS, the Brazilian Mathematical Society (SBM), the Canadian Mathematical Society (CMS), the Mathematical Union for Latin America and the Caribbean (UMALCA), the Mexican Mathematical Society (SMM), and the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM). Other mathematical societies and institutions throughout the Americas will participate in the Congress as well.

Submissions are now being accepted for MCA 2013 and limit funding is available from MCA for speakers whose access to other funding sources is limited.

The American Mathematics Society has funding from the National Science Foundation to provide partial travel support for U.S.-based mathematicians to attend MCA 2013. Applications will be accepted from September 15 - October 31, 2012. More information and the online application can be found at http://www.ams.org/programs/travel-grants/mca.
