This forum, moderated by Tom Manteuffel, SIAM President Elect; Steven Ashby, Linda Petzold, and Gilbert Strang, conference co-chairs; is open to all attendees of this conference. Everyone is invited to participate in the discussion. The purpose of this gathering is for attendees to express their thoughts about the creation of a SIAM Activity Group on Computational Science and Engineering, and to consider preparing a petition to form such an activity group.
