Systems Biology and Medicine: Measurement and Computational Challenges

Biology is being transformed by systems approaches to biology and medicine. I will discuss what systems biology and medicine are and then discuss the revolutions in measurement and computational tools that will be necessary to realize the full potential of these opportunities. For example, they will enable us to unravel incredible biology complexity and will also lead to a new medicine that is predictive, preventive, personalized and participatory.
