Location

A silken blend of Western and Eastern influences creates the gentle, welcoming ambience of the Radisson Miyako Hotel. Located in Lower Pacific Heights, (just minutes from Fisherman's Wharf, Union Square and other major attractions), the hotel combines Western quality and comfort with subtle Asian charm. Just beyond the hotel's doors, a kaleidoscope of culture swirls. J-Town, or Nihon Machi, as it is known to San Francisco's citizens of Japanese origin, looks to be a thousand light years from the realm of cable cars. The neighborhood is both shielded and dominated by the three-block long Japan Center. A round pagoda form donated by the Japanese government dominates the Peace Plaza, located beside the hotel. This entire plaza features Japanese-style landscaping, thus setting the tone of peaceful tranquility.

Contact the San Francisco Convention and Visitors Bureau, telephone 415-974-6900, or www.sfvisitor.org for information on the city and attractions.
