Government Rate Reservations ($115): Government attendees should call 1-800-453-3000 or 801-742-2222 to request a government rate room.Attendees should mention they are requesting the SIAM government rate. Guests will be required to pay taxes when booking but can present their tax exempt information upon check in to get a reimbursement if needed.

Improper solicitation of hotel reservations is not approved by SIAM, and any claim SIAM has provided attendee contact information for solicitation is fraudulent. Reservations offered by unaffiliated organizations may promise lower rates, however, they may be illegitimate, nonexistent, non-refundable, or have unreasonable cancellation or change penalties. Location
Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort is located in the Wasatch Mountains and features three distinctive lodges: The Cliff Lodge, The Lodge at Snowbird, and The Inn. All three buildings offer the luxury of a downtown hotel and convention center with the splendor of the great outdoors. Snowbird has restaurants, lounges and a world class spa and salon. A wide variety of shops and boutiques are also available in the Snowbird Center and the Cliff Lodge.
Snowbird is the most accessible world-renowned four-season mountain resort in North America: 29 miles from the Salt Lake City International Airport, with over 600 daily non-stop flights from most major U.S. cities.

Did you know?
Your support in staying at the Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort helps keep the conference costs down, which directly affects your registration fees. SIAM guarantees the hotel that we will fill a certain number of “room nights” (rooms per night) during the conference. SIAM incurs penalties if too many attendees opt to stay in other hotels in the area or neglect to indicate to the hotel that they are with the SIAM conference. At this time, conference costs do not include meeting room rental. If SIAM fails to fill the contracted room block, SIAM is then charged the cost for the meeting rooms on a daily basis, along with a hefty penalty. Future registration fees could increase to cover these additional risks.
Reservations
SIAM is holding a block of rooms at the Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort. These rooms are being held on a first-come, first-served basis at the following discounted rates. Please be aware the room block fills quickly, so we suggest you make your hotel and travel plans early.
The group rate is guaranteed until the cutoff date or until the room block is full. If rooms are available after the cutoff date, they will be offered at the best available rate.

All rates are subject to state and local occupancy taxes.
Please note: Snowbird’s daily resort fee will be inclusive of the rates for all attendees booked within the SIAM room block. For rooms booked outside of the SIAM room block, a $25 per night resort fee will apply.
In the event that you find a lower room rate, please make the reservation at the lower rate and notify SIAM immediately ([email protected]). By doing this you will receive the lower rate and be counted towards the SIAM room block. However, please be aware by booking outside the SIAM room block at a lower rate, you may not receive the same benefits as rooms reserved in the SIAM room block (i.e complimentary Internet access).
Reservations are not confirmed until acknowledged in writing by the hotel or verified by phone. Be sure to get a confirmation number from the hotel and be prepared to provide that number to the front desk clerk upon check-in at the hotel. If hotel reservations are requested by facsimile and written confirmation is not received within two weeks of sending the facsimile, please contact the hotel immediately to verify that the reservation request was received and processed. Be sure to get a confirmation number.
When making reservations, be sure to identify yourself as an attendee of the SIAM Conference on Applications of Dynamical Systems. In order to receive the SIAM group rate, please make your reservations using the above group reservation link, by fax at +1-801-947-8227 or by mailing the Hotel Reservation Form directly to the Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort. You may also make your reservation by phone by calling +1-800-453-3000 (USA and Canada) or +1-801-933-2222. Students must call Snowbird directly to make a reservation at the student rate, and must have the name of their roommate ready.
Do not make your reservation online using the hotel’s general web site, as this will not allow you to obtain the SIAM group rate. Be sure to use the group link if making reservations online. Remember to get your confirmation number!

Cancellations
If you need to change or cancel your reservation, you must contact the hotel 48 hours prior to arrival date to avoid a cancellation fee. You can contact the hotel at +1-800-453-3000 (USA and Canada) or +1-801-933-2222. Remember to get a cancellation number! Reservations are fully refundable 48 hours prior to arrival. The cancellation number is the same as the confirmation number.
Check-In and Check-Out
Check-in time starts at 4:00 PM, room is guaranteed by 6:00 PM and check-out time is 11:00 AM.
Deposit
When booking via fax or telephone, the Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort requires a one-night deposit to confirm and guarantee your reservation. When booking online, full payment is required at time of booking. The hotel will send out email confirmations upon request.
Welcome Reception
When making your reservation, remember that the Welcome Reception is scheduled for Saturday, May 20 from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm. This is an excellent networking opportunity!
Health Facilities
Snowbird’s Cliff Spa Fitness Center is available at a reduced rate of $12.50 per day to attendees staying within the SIAM room block. Due to construction, only the third floor pool will be available. The pool in the Cliff Spa will be closed. There is also a complimentary fitness room in the Cliff Lodge and Lodge at Snowbird.

Complimentary self-parking is available.
