Subdivision Surfaces for Engineering Analysis

This minisymposium will pull together the foundational material for subdivision surfaces. Using the Loop and Catmull-Clark schemes as examples, the speakers will exhibit the aspects of these surfaces necessary for engineering analysis: parametrizations and basis functions.
