CAGD, Geometry Processing and scientific visualization are the main areas of interest. Recent and future work comprises multiresolution methods in geometric modeling, shape modeling under constraints, curvature based surface interrogation methods, shape optimization by fairing B-spline surfaces, the development of a stability concept for free form surfaces, mesh optimization, and surface triangulations.
