Computational Methods for Practical Control Design - Part I of II

This 2-part minisymposium will focus on computational methods for control. The speakers will discuss proper orthogonal decomposition (POD) which leads to low order (and therefore computationally efficient) systems, different numerical schemes that can be applied to compute functional gains for a control problem, computation of sensitivities, ultimately to be used in optimal design, and a Newton-SQP interior-point method for output feedback design.
