Parallel Visualization Technology

Scientific supercomputing, high-resolution experiments, sensors, and the Internet can generate data sets so voluminous and complex that traditional desktop visualization and analysis tools break. We are barely capable of visualizing and analyzing terascale data to its full extent, and petascale datasets are on the horizon. What we need is a parallel visualization technology that is scalable for very large data sets and supercomputer systems. I will introduce several new, scalable parallel visualization algorithms for a variety of applications.
