This conference is sponsored by the SIAM Activity Group on Supercomputing.
The invited speaker presentations, the prize speaker presentations, and a selection of minisymposia presentations from the 2012 Conference on Parallel Processing for Scientific Computing have been captured and are available as slides with synchronized audio. In addition there are PDF’s of the slides available for printing. View presentation slides with synchronized audio.
POSTER DEADLINE EXTENDED to January 4, 2012
Contributed presentations in poster format are invited in all areas consistent with the conference themes. Poster presentations involve the use of non-electronic visual aids for mounting on a 4' x 6' poster board. Each contributor must submit a title and a brief abstract not to exceed 75 words.
Additional submissions for poster presentations are being accepted through January 4, 2012. Submissions approved before December 7, 2011 will appear in the printed program; titles of later submissions will appear online and in an addendum available at the conference. Interested parties should submit the following information using the online submission site.
Presenting author: name, affiliation, e-mail address
Each co-author: name, affiliation, e-mail address
Brief Abstract (75 words or less)
Note: Extended deadline is for poster submissions only. No additional minisymposium proposals or lecture submissions are being accepted.

The Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics is proud to present the Fourteenth Conference on Parallel Processing for Scientific Computing. This series of conferences has played a key role in promoting parallel scientific computing, algorithms for parallel systems, and parallel numerical algorithms. The conference is unique in its emphasis on the intersection between high performance scientific computing and scalable algorithms, architectures, and software. The conference provides a forum for communication among the applied mathematics, computer science, and computational science and engineering communities.
SIAM and the Conference Organizing Committee wish to extend their thanks and appreciation to the U.S. National Science Foundation for its support of this conference.
SIAM and the Conference Organizing Committee wish to extend their thanks and appreciation to the Department of Energy (DOE) for its support of this conference.
