Unemployed or Disabled Members

Unemployed Member

If you have been a paying member of SIAM for at least three years and are currently unemployed, you are eligible to receive a special discounted dues rate for up to one year. The rate for 2013 is $37.

Disabled Member

If you are a Regular Member of SIAM and are unemployed due to a disability, you are eligible to receive a 75% discount on your membership for as long as you are disabled.

Benefits of membership are the same as for a Regular Member, except that you will not be eligible to nominate two students for free SIAM membership.
