Connect a colleague to the computational community.
Applied mathematics and computational science are interdisciplinary areas in which many bright and exciting people—like you—are working. SIAM members rely on SIAM to provide them with a community in which all of those researchers can come together. In turn, SIAM relies on its current members as the best possible source for new members.
If you have a friend or colleague who has not yet discovered SIAM, help them connect to the scientific community by inviting them to become a member of SIAM.
If your colleague joins SIAM, both of you will be eligible to win prizes! For every new SIAM member your recruit between now and December 31, 2013, both your names will be entered into a drawing to win one of the following prizes: 
► an iPad
► an additional year of SIAM membership
► a SIAM conference registration for the meeting of your choice.
► a SIAM book of your choice from our entire catalogue.
Plus, the first 100 members to refer a colleague who joins SIAM will receive a ∈SIAM T-shirt.
To be included in the contest drawing (January 2014), all new member applications must be received by the SIAM office by December 31, 2013.
