Call for Nomination
Martin Kruskal Lecture
The Martin Kruskal Lecture will be awarded to an individual for a notable body of mathematics and contributions in the field of nonlinear waves and coherent structures.
The first award of the prize will be made by the SIAM Activity Group on Nonlinear Waves and Coherent Structures (SIAG/NWCS) at the SIAM Conference on Nonlinear Waves and Coherent Structures (NW12), to be held June 13-16, 2012, at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington.Eligibility
A candidate's work must be a significant research contribution to the mathematical theory of nonlinear waves and coherent structures, where this research area is interpreted as being in the spirit of the SIAG/NWCS meetings.
Nominations
A nomination consists of 1.) a letter of nomination outlining the major achievements of the candidate regarding his/her work in NWCS and 2.) a C.V. of the candidate.
