Colombia Section of SIAM
COSIAM was established in 2010 for the purpose of furthering the application of mathematics to industry and science in Colombia by promoting basic research in mathematics leading to new methods and techniques and by providing media for the exchange of information and ideas between mathematicians and other technical and scientific personnel.

This year’s COSIAM annual meeting took place in Isla Baru, Cartagena de Indias during the 2nd South American Dynamics Days, November 20-23. It included poster sessions featuring members of SIAM student chapters.
