SIAM Southeastern Atlantic Section (SIAM-SEAS)
SIAM-SEAS was formed in 1977 to connect scientists, engineers, applied mathematicians, and graduate students in the southeast. States included in the section are Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. The Southeastern Atlantic Section of SIAM sponsors an annual meeting each spring.

The 40th SIAM Southeastern Section Conference (SIAM-SEAS 2016) will take place at the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia on March 12-13, 2016.
The 39th SIAM Southeastern Atlantic Section Conference (SIAM-SEAS 2015) will be hosted by Yanni Zeng at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, March 20-22, 2015.
The 38th Annual Meeting of SIAM-SEAS took place March 28-30, 2014, at the Florida Institute of Technology, in Melbourne, Florida. It featured plenary talks by
- Louis Block, University of Florida,
- Emmanuele DiBenedetto, Vanderbilt University,
- Joel Smoller, University of Michigan, and
- Gunther Uhlmann, University of Washington,
in addition to minisymposia and poster sessions.
