Located in the heart of Downtown Spokane, our DoubleTree hotel places you in the center of it all. We’re steps from Gonzaga University and the downtown University District, home to facilities for five institutions including Washington State University, Eastern Washington University and the University of Washington. On the banks of the Spokane River you’ll find the Centennial Trail. Walk, run or bike on the paved, pedestrian-friendly path that stretches from Spokane to Idaho. Stop by Riverfront Park and enjoy a turn on the Looff Carrousel, soar above the Spokane Falls in the SkyRide Gondola, or take a trip around the Skate Ribbon. Attend a Broadway show right next door to the hotel at the First Interstate Center for the Arts, or view the Spokane Symphony at the Fox Theater. Transportation
The DoubleTree provides daily round trip shuttle service to/from the Spokane International Airport. Please call the hotel operator at 509-455-9600 after reclaiming your luggage at baggage claim and directions will be provided where to meet the next shuttle. The shuttle is $15.00 one-way and $20.00 round trip per room.

Your support in staying at DoubleTree by Hilton Spokane City Center helps keep the conference costs down, which directly affects your registration fees. SIAM guarantees the hotel that we will fill a certain number of “room nights” (rooms per night) during the conference. SIAM incurs penalties if too many attendees opt to stay in other hotels in the area or neglect to indicate to the hotel that they are with the SIAM conference. If SIAM fails to fill the contracted room block, SIAM is charged a hefty penalty which could impact future registration fees.
Reservations
SIAM is holding a block of rooms at DoubleTree by Hilton Spokane City Center. These rooms are being held on a first-come, first-served basis at the following discounted rates. Please be aware the room block fills quickly, so we suggest you make your hotel and travel plans early.
The group rate is guaranteed until the cutoff date or until the room block is full. If rooms are available after the cutoff date, they will be offered at the best available rate.
Reservation Deadline – February 1, 2019 (or until the room block is filled)
Student Rate $134 per night plus 12% tax + $2.00 TPA
Student ID must be presented upon check-in. SIAM has negotiated a limited number of rooms at a reduced rate. Please book early as these rooms sell out quickly!
Room rates include complimentary internet access.
All rooms based on availability.
All rates are subject to state and local occupancy taxes.
* Additional fees of $10 per person apply to triple and quad occupancy.
In the event that you find a lower room rate, please make the reservation at the lower rate and notify SIAM immediately. By doing this you will receive the lower rate and be counted towards the SIAM room block. However, please be aware by booking outside the SIAM room block at a lower rate, you may not receive the same benefits as rooms reserved in the SIAM room block (i.e complimentary Internet access).

Do not make your reservation online using the hotel’s general web site, as this will not allow you to obtain the SIAM group rate. Be sure to use the online reservation link above if making reservations online.Remember to get your confirmation number!
Reservations are not confirmed until acknowledged in writing by the hotel or verified by phone. Be sure to get a confirmation number from the hotel and be prepared to provide that number to the front desk clerk upon check-in at the hotel.
Cancellations
If you need to change or cancel your reservation, you must contact the hotel prior to 6:00 p.m. on the scheduled arrival date to avoid a cancellation fee. You can contact the hotel at +1-800-757-6131 (USA and Canada) or +1-509-744-2363. Remember to get a cancellation number!

Check-in time is 4:00 p.m. and
check-out time is 11:00 a.m.
Deposit
DoubleTree by Hilton Spokane City Center requires a credit card to confirm and guarantee your
reservation. The hotel will send out e-mail confirmations upon request.
Health Facilities
Hotel guests will have complimentary use of the fitness center and hot tub
in DoubleTree by Hilton Spokane City Center.
