Standard Audio-visual Set-up in Meeting Rooms

SIAM does not provide computers for any speaker. When giving an electronic presentation, speakers must provide their own computers. SIAM is not responsible for the safety and security of speakers’ computers.

A data (LCD) projector and screen will be provided in all technical session meeting rooms. The data projectors support both VGA and HDMI connections. Presenters requiring an alternate connection must provide their own adaptor.

All speakers should review SIAM's AV Policy prior to the pre-registration deadline.

Internet Access

SIAM will provide a limited number of email stations for attendees during registration hours at the Spokane Convention Center (SCC). In addition, SIAM has arranged for wireless Internet access throughout the meeting areas at the SCC. This service is being provided to attendees at no additional cost.

The Davenport Grand and the Doubletree Spokane offer guests booked within the SIAM block complimentary wireless Internet access in the guest rooms.

Membership

Leading the applied mathematics community . . . Join SIAM and save!

SIAM members save up to $140 on full registration for the SIAM Conference on Computational Science and Engineering (CSE19)! Join your peers in supporting the premier professional society for applied mathematicians and computational scientists. SIAM members receive subscriptions to SIAM Review, SIAM Unwrapped and SIAM News and enjoy substantial discounts on SIAM books, journal subscriptions, and conference registrations.

If you are not a SIAM member and do not join SIAM before you register for the conference, you can pay the Non-Member rate and still apply the difference between what you paid for the conference and what a member would have paid ($140 for a Non-Member) towards a SIAM membership. After you register for the conference, contact SIAM Customer Service for details about membership or join at the registration desk at the conference.

If you are a SIAM member, it only costs $15 to join the SIAM Activity Group on Computational Science and Engineering. As a SIAG/CSE member, you are eligible for an additional $15 discount on this conference. As the total price of membership plus conference registration is the same, you might want to consider joining the activity group.

Any student who registers as a nonmember will automatically be given a free membership in SIAM, so please ensure that your contact information and online profile are complete when you register.
