Mathematical Models for Physiology

10:30 AM-12:30 PM
Rio Mar 10

This minisymposium presents a collection of works on mathematical models for physiology. The speakers will discuss the development of models as well as their mathematical analysis and computational aspects. They will present research on spectral analysis for the model equations of a particular renal mechanism, parallel algorithms for solving model equations that describe the mammalian kidney, a fluid-mechanical model of the mobility of microorganism, and the mathematical processing of diffusion tensor magnetic images.
