Minisymposium (MS): Each speaker has 25 minutes for presentation plus 5 minutes for audience questions.
Contributed Presentations (CP): Each speaker has 12 minutes for presentation plus 3 minutes for audience questions.
Invited Plenary Presentations (IP): Each speaker has 40 minutes for presentation plus 5 minutes for audience questions.
The conference organizers expect every speaker of a scheduled presentation to register and attend the meeting. If it becomes necessary for a speaker to cancel the presentation, the speaker is expected to find an alternate presenter immediately, preferably one of the speaker's coauthors. The speaker must inform the SIAM Conference Department ([email protected]) immediately of any changes to his/her scheduled presentation.
A "no-show" or canceled presentation can cause serious inconvenience to the attendees and conference organizers.
