All rooms will be held for meeting attendees until Tuesday, June 10, 2003. After that date, reservations will depend on availability. Your reservation is not confirmed until acknowledged in writing by the hotel or verified by phone. When making reservations by phone, be sure to identify yourself as an attendee of the SIAM Meeting.

Hotel Room-Sharing List

A hotel room-sharing list is available for those who wish to share a room with another attendee at the meeting to reduce expenses. If you are interested in finding a roommate, please fill in and submit the Hotel Room-Sharing List Form. SIAM can only give you the name of other interested attendees; it is up to you to make the arrangements.

Climate

The weather in Williamsburg during July varies between a high of 89°F (32°C) and low of 67°F (19°C). Please remember meeting room temperatures and personal comfort zones vary widely. It is recommended that you bring a sweater or jacket to the sessions.

Location

Cancellations

Location

Located in historic Williamsburg, Va., approximately 150 miles south of Washington, D.C., midway between Richmond and Norfolk, Va.

All dorm rooms are air-conditioned and will include a bed, fresh linens (2 sheets, 1 pillowcase, 4 towels and 2 washcloths, soap, tissues, cups, pillow, and blanket), a telephone and breakfast.
Rooms are bunkbed style with shared hall bathrooms. Limited Singles are available.
A fee of $40.00 will be charged for lost keys and $10.00 for conference cards (dorm access and meals).

Deposit

The College of William and Mary requires a credit card to confirm and guarantee your reservation. They accept VISA, MasterCard or personal checks. The campus will fax confirmations upon receipt of the On-Campus Housing Form with payment.

Cancellations

All cancellations must be made in writing to the address provided on the On-Campus Housing Form. A processing fee of one night charge, per person, will be deducted from refunds made after July 8, 2003.

Check-In and Check-Out

Check-in time is 2:00 PM on July 15th and check-out time is 12 Noon.

Parking

Free self parking will be available at the University Center Parking Lot or any parking lot on campus ONLY in parking spaces designated as RESIDENT or DAY STUDENT parking. Parking is not permitted in the FACULTY/STAFF parking spaces unless a valid parking decal is displayed. The college will provide campus parking permits at no charge. Please pick up your permit at the University Center.
