Audiovisual Notice

The deadline for ordering additional audiovisual equipment is August 10, 2001.          

Standard AV Set-Up in Meeting Rooms

Every PLENARY SESSION ROOM will have TWO OVERHEAD PROJECTORS and TWO SCREENS, A 35 MM SLIDE PROJECTOR, AND A DATA PROJECTOR.

All other breakout rooms will have one overhead projector and one screen. Speakers may order additional audiovisual equipment than the standard AV set-up listed above in accordance with SIAM's Audiovisual Policy.

SIAM Policy for Ordering Additional Audiovisual Equipment

  1. Invited Speakers for the Plenary Sessions may order equipment subject to availability.
  2. Minisymposium speakers may order equipment if more than one speaker in the session will utilize it.
  3. Contributed speakers may use additional audiovisual equipment if it has already been ordered by Invited or Minisymposium speakers and is already available in the assigned meeting room on the day and time of presentation.
  4. Poster presenters may not order any additional audiovisual equipment.
  5. Computers will not be ordered for any speaker, if power point or other type of presentation utilizing computer is planned, speaker must bring their own laptop.

SIAM will pay for approved requested additional audiovisual equipment. However, if the ordered additional audiovisual equipment is not utilized, SIAM will charge the person who requested the equipment. Please send your request for additional audiovisual equipment to the SIAM Conference Department via fax 215-386-7999 or e-mail [email protected].� You should receive a confirmation from SIAM for the requested equipment.� If you do not, please e-mail [email protected] to make sure your request has been received by SIAM.
