Minisymposium Title: Inverse Problems in Materials Science

Minisymposium Description: This minisymposium focuses on inverse problems arising in estimating the constitutive parameters of a material (e.g. its conductivity) from indirect measurements (e.g. the voltage and current on the boundary of the material). Inverse problems have many applications such as nondestructive testing, medical imaging, and climate change. The goal of this minisymposium is to highlight a broad spectrum of research results on applications of inverse problems to material sciences.
