5th IMACS International Conference on Nonlinear Evolution Equations and Wave Phenomena: Computation and TheoryNovember 1, 2006
April 16–19, 2007
The 5th IMACS International Conference on Nonlinear Evolution Equations and Wave Phenomena: Computation and Theory will be held at the University of Georgia, in Athens, Georgia, April 16–19, 2007. The conference will focus on computational and theoretical aspects of nonlinear wave phenomena. Interdisciplinary aspects of the subject will be emphasized, as well as interaction between computation, theory, and applications.
The conference is sponsored by NSF, UGA, and IMACS.
General Chairs: R. Vichnevetsky (U.S., president of IMACS), G. Biondini (U.S.), J. Bona (U.S.), and T. Taha (U.S., program chair and conference coordinator).
Keynote Speakers: Steven Cundiff (U.S.), Percy Deift (U.S.), and Brian Straughan (U.K.).
