Professor Bill Fox (Ph.D. Clemson University) is currently a professor at the Naval Postgraduate School teaching a three course sequence in mathematical modeling fro decision making. Prior to coming to NPS, he was chair of mathematics for eight years at Francis Marion University and before that was in the mathematical sciences department at the United States Military Academy for 12 years. From 1986-1987, he served as Chief of the Studies and Analysis Division and Chief of the Automated Support and Computer Division for the US Army Signal Corps performing and supervising operations research and systems analysis. He has co-authored several books and numerous articles in mathematical modeling, applied mathematics and operations research. He is associate contest director for the Mathematical Contest in Modeling and contest director of the High School Mathematical Contest in Modeling.
