SIAM Conference on Analysis of Partial Differential Equations (PD19)

December 11 - 14, 2019

La Quinta Resort & Club | La Quinta, California, U.S.

About the Conference

Sponsored by the SIAM Activity Group on Analysis of Partial Differential Equations.

The primary goal of this conference is to bring together scientists and mathematicians working in partial differential equations and related fields. Contemporary challenges raised by recent advances in engineering, industry, and bio-technology, will be confronted with state-of-the-art mathematical and computational tools in PDE. Some of the topics covered in this meeting can be found in the list of themes below. Advanced graduate students and young researchers are encouraged to participate. Limited funding is available for graduate students and recent PhDs.

Included Themes
  • Nonlocal PDEs
  • Kinetic Theory
  • Conservation Laws
  • Coupled Multi-Physics PDE Systems
  • Fluid Dynamics
  • Numerical Analysis of PDEs
  • Control and Optimization
  • Variational Methods
  • Nonlinear Waves
  • Stochastic PDEs
  • PDEs in Biological and Complex Systems
  • Multiscale Analysis
  • Geometric PDEs and Optimal Transport
  • Mathematical Physics

Applications of PDEs including:

  • Biology, Medicine and Imaging
  • PDEs on Graphs and Networks
  • Geophysical Flows
