Guidelines for Broadcasting, Photographing, and Videotaping
Thank you for agreeing to share your knowledge, experience, and professional insights by participating in a SIAM conference. By agreeing to SIAM’s Guidelines for Broadcasting, Photographing and Videotaping, you hereby grant SIAM the right and permission to record, use, publish, stream, or otherwise distribute any audio, video, photograph, or materials captured as a result of attending this conference. The recording or broadcasting of any SIAM event, talk, and session by any other party is strictly forbidden without the explicit written permission of SIAM.
By participating in a SIAM conference, participants acknowledge that SIAM staff, or an outside company hired by SIAM, may capture audio, video, and/or photographs at the event. These photographs and videos may be used for publicity purposes, including but not limited to social media and SIAM News. Participants acknowledge that their photograph or audio/video that includes them may be published in material produced by SIAM and may appear in print, online, or any other manner or media. Participants waive and agree that they have no right of approval, or any claim for compensation. Please notify the photographer or videographer if you do not want to appear in photos or video. In the event that SIAM records presentations given during the conference, the speaker’s consent will be obtained separately.
Finally, you hereby warrant and represent that you have the right to enter into this agreement and to grant the rights given to SIAM herein.
