Examination Copy Request Form

Thank you for requesting an examination copy. We will make a print or electronic book available to you for review. You will receive a print book in about two weeks. If you choose an electronic copy, you will have access to the book on your computer or handheld device within 72 hours. If you do not already have a Google Account, you will need to set one up in order to access the book, which can be done here. 

If you have already adopted the book and need a desk copy, please request that here. Proof of adoption is required.

Print books are only available to customers in North America. However, if you do not live in a GooglePlay participating country, we will send you a print book.

Examination Copies are available for a ninety day period.

Electronic copies are distributed through Google Play. A Gmail address is required.
Shipping Books are shipped by media mail. If you would like your print copy express shipped to you, we ask that you pay the shipping fee. Please select the type of shipping you would like, and after submitting the form please call customer service at +1-215-382-9800 or toll-free 800-447-SIAM (US and Canada) to provide your credit card information. We will charge your credit card and ship your book via the method you selected. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. For all shipments to Canada and outside the US: SIAM is not responsible for duties, taxes, or delays due to Customs inspections. Please contact your local Customs office for further information.

Textbooks are made available for a 90-day period. If you plan to adopt the book for your course, please notify SIAM (include the course name(s), number, and level, the expected enrollment, and the semesters/years the course is planned for) and if you prefer a print copy or e-book.

If you decide not to adopt the textbook, you may purchase it at the SIAM member price, which is a 30% discount off of the list price, or you may purchase the e-book from Google Play (e-book pricing reflects a 20% discount off of the list price of the print book).

Request Limits

  • One examination copy of each title may be requested per person.
  • Two print and three electronic examination copies (five separate titles) may be requested per person per calendar year.
  • A separate request form must be submitted for each title requested.

Titles by Gil Strang are only available as print books.
