Liang Xu is an Advanced Research Scientist and Engineer and head of the Environmental Processes and Modeling Branch (Code 7530) in the Marine Meteorology Division of the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory in Monterey, California. For more than three decades, he has played a leading role in the development of environmental prediction systems for the U.S. Navy.
