SIAM Southeastern Atlantic Section (SIAM-SEAS)

SIAM-SEAS was formed in 1977 to serve as a link among scientists, engineers, applied mathematicians and graduate students in the southeast and with SIAM. States included in the section are Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.

The Southeastern Atlantic Section of SIAM sponsors an annual conference each spring. The 2009 SIAM-SEAS conference will be held on Saturday and Sunday, April 4-5 at the University of South Carolina at Columbia. A section newsletter is produced about twice a year: the most recent is the Spring 2008 Newsletter [PDF, 63KB].
