Standard Audio-visual Set-up in Meeting Rooms

All speakers must provide their own computers; computers will *not* be provided in the meeting rooms. All meeting rooms will be equipped with an LCD projector with HDMI connection, and screen. Microphones will be available in larger rooms. Participants are reminded to bring a Type E electric adaptor for EU plugs (220V).

All buildings on campus have WiFi access with Eduroam.

The average May temperature in Paris varies between 52° F (11.1°C) and 68° F (20°C). Remember meeting room temperatures and personal comfort zones vary widely. It is recommended that you bring a sweater or jacket to the sessions.

Poster Session

Posterboards are 200 cm in height and 100 cm wide so we advise vertical or “portrait” orientation and A0 Format: 841 x 1189 mm. Clips will be provided to secure posters to the boards.

The poster session is scheduled for Monday, May 13, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. along with the welcome reception. Presenters are requested to put up their posters no later than 6:30 p.m. on Monday the official start time of the session. SIAM Books and Journals

Those interested in purchasing SIAM books can do so at SIAM’s online bookstore https://bookstore.siam.org/. SIAM members get 30 percent off. Non-members get 20 percent off by using the code on the Titles on Display list available at the book display, when available.

Visa Information

Some participants will require an invitation letter to obtain a visa to visit France. If you require a letter of invitation, please send a request to [email protected].

Letter of Invitation

Participants in need of a Letter of Invitation to assist in the visa application process, please send an email to [email protected] to request assistance.

Attendance Certification Letters

Attendance Certification Letters will be provided upon request only. Requests must be submitted to [email protected] and should include the full name of the individual requesting a letter, conference name, and a copy of the conference registration receipt/confirmation. If presenting, include presentation details (session number and talk title).

Please allow up to five (5) business days for processing. All letters will be sent via email.
